MRes in Child Health
The MRes in Child Health is an innovative, research-oriented programme for medical graduates, allied health professionals and science graduates interested in pursuing child health research. The first programme of its kind in the UK, the MRes in Child Health provides unique opportunities to gain research skills and experience, and to develop transferable academic and professional skills.
An extended research project allows students to undertake independent original research at a post-graduate level. Students will explore high quality, hypothesis-driven research in an area of their choosing. Popular areas of research excellence within the UCL Institute of Child Health include gene-therapy, stem cell research, infection and immunity, childhood development, metabolic defects and cancer. Students are also encouraged to consider projects across other UCL departments.
