LME 23rd May “Getting the most from your Paediatric Training”
Dr Camilla Kingdon, our very own head of school and Vice President for Educational and Professional Development for RCPCH will be posing the question ‘What is the most important or useful thing I know now, that I wished I’d known when I was a trainee?’ to a panel of newly appointed consultants, covering the spectrum of paediatrics from generalists, to subspecialists to academics.
Ideal for any trainee wishing to make their journey to consultant level more focused, less bumpy or just a little bit more interesting!
LME 5th June “Setting up a service: Understanding the finances”
A golden opportunity for paediatricians at all levels to understand the money flows, budget considerations and financial decisions which dictate funding for the services we provide to our patients.
Join us for another hugely popular and accessible teaching session provided by senior financial advisors Fiona Moore and Richard Bailey, alongside consultant paediatrician Dr Felicity Taylor. Learn about how funding is obtained for healthcare services, commissioning processes and the role of the healthcare finance director.
ALL level trainee and non-trainee doctors welcome (including babes in arms!)
£15 per person
Networking reception with drinks and nibbles from 6pm, session commencing at 6:30pm.
