Registration is now open for the RSM Child Safeguarding day which promises to be a thought provoking day on contemporary challenges surrounding child safeguarding. During this study day, leading experts will present updates on the requirements and challenges of paediatric practice in the context of safeguarding children. Themes include:
*Acute/chronic sexual abuse
*Factitious fabricated illness
*Vulnerable teenagers and gang culture
The Royal Society of Medicine and the London School of Paediatrics hold monthly training days aimed primarily at ST4 and ST5 paediatric trainees, but accessible to a much wider audience. Carefully mapped to the RCPCH curriculum, and with lectures and interactive sessions delivered by experts within their fields, these days offer a valuable opportunity to cover topics that may be difficult to address within the hospital setting.
