I love some good news – especially in February when it’s grey and miserable! I also love that wonderful feeling when I am reminded what sensational trainees I work with in London! Well – today is one of those February days! Our lovely Academic Trainees’ Subgroup has just let me know that Felicity was awarded joint first prize in the Oral Plenary Competition at the Spring Meeting for Clinician Scientists in Training at the Academy of Medical Sciences last week. Her presentation was about her work in Sierra Leone diagnosing Ebola in children there. This is wonderful news and very richly deserved! Huge congratulations to Felicity!
