The Baker Street Irregulars (forensic medicine and pathology student society at St George’s University of London) present ‘Putting the pieces together: the story of Baby P’.
For forensics with a twist, all are welcome to attend a thought provoking evening with guest speakers including Professor Ray Jones who will discuss the social, media and institutional impacts of the Baby P case and Kim Tolley from the GMC, who will discuss when it is appropriate and what it means to break patient confidentiality.
There will be a panel discussion at the end of the talk and audience members are encouraged to participate. We will invite our speakers plus Dr Sarah Thurlbeck, St George’s University Hospital’s NHS Foundation Trust’s Named Doctor for Child Safeguarding to respond to Q&A.
