This course uses an innovative e-learning activity to allow the course faculty to undertake a learning needs analysis for each group of delegates. The one day course will be tailored to the learning needs of attendees and involves simulated clinical scenarios in a ward setting. Candidates will also attend seminars based upon identified learning needs.
The aim of the course is to strengthen decision making when caring for a child who requires critical care. By the end of the course you will be equipped with the skills and knowledge to recognise a deteriorating child, and have an understanding of how strong decision making influences outcomes for acutely unwell children.
Who is the Course for?
Any nurse, doctor, physiotherapist or nursing assistant who works in a children’s ward in a District General Hospital, or tertiary children’s hospital in the south east of England or South London.
This course is free to attend.
*Please note that this course is only open to NHS staff working in the south east of England or South London
