Grand Rounds ‘Medical Treatment and the Law’
You are invited to attend our grand round talk on the latest cases in medical treatment which are directly relevant to practice.
“Vikram Sachdeva is a medically-qualified QC who practices in Public Law and Human Rights, Healthcare, Disciplinary and Commercial Law.
He often acts in high profile cases such as Ashya King (authorisation of cancer treatment abroad), Re M (withdrawal of CANH from a patient in MCS), Aintree v James (the leading Supreme Court case defining when medical treatment is futile), and Janet Tracey (Article 8 right to be consulted before DNACPR).”
The talk takes place on: Friday 26th May 2017, between 1-2pm at Weston House Lecture Theatre, GOSH.
The event is free and open to all staff members and lunch will be provided on the day. No booking required.
