Date:5 December 2017
Time:9.00am – 5.00pm
- This event, sponsored by Meds IQ and Medicines for Children, aims to bring together child health professionals and parents to work together on challenges and solutions in improving medication safety for children.
- The programme will feature a number of speakers, including parents from WellChild and Mother’s Instinct, Kath Evans, Experience of Care Lead, Maternity, Infants, Children and Young People for NHS England and Carol Munt, Patient Partner and Advocate of the Q Community.
- The day will be an opportunity for multi-professional child health practitioners and parent groups to develop ideas for practical solutions and interventions to improve safety.
- If you have a project poster you would like to present, please email firstname.lastname@example.org. The project in question can be an example of a co-designed solution with families or it could be another example of a QI approach to reducing harm from medication error. All the posters will be on display during the lunch break at the event.
