This new course at 33 Queens square on 16th june 2017 is aimed at paediatricians of all grades to update their knowledge of adolescent medicine and improve the care of young people.
Adolescents make up a fifth of the population and have critical health needs, which are very different from those of younger children! Serious longterm conditions emerge at this age, risk-taking behaviours begin, and life-long health behaviours are set in place.
There are limited learning opportunities for paediatricians regarding the medical and psychological problems affecting young people and how to best motivate and look after them.
This course, run by experts mainly based at the largest adolescent service in the UK is aimed at paediatric consultants, juniors and others wishing to get up to date knowledge.
Come and enjoy a day of reflective, interactive CPD and raise your game!
