Who are they aimed at?
They are suitable for all trainees and consultants with an interest in leadership, management and education within the NHS. Naturally the sessions may appeal more to senior trainees (SpRs and ST 6-8) but in recognition of the importance of developing skills in Leadership & Management at all levels, this years programme has been designed to include more sessions relevant to level 1 & 2 trainees. The sessions are open to all our paediatric colleagues including nurses, therapists, pharmacists & those working in affiliated specialities such as emergency medicine and CAMHs.
When & Where is LME held?
They are run from September to June, and usually occur after the RSM Paediatric Study days.
The networking drinks reception starts at 6.00pm and the main session runs from 6.30 – 8.30pm.
All sessions are held at the Royal Society of Medicine, 1 Wimpole street, London W1G 0AE. This is a 5-10 minute walk from either Bond Street or Oxford Circus Tube station.
How do I book?
Booking is via the RSM website
Please use the same booking process, as for the RSM Paediatric study day. As you progress through the online booking form, you will be given an option for selecting LME only.
Online booking closes a few days before the event but on the day registration is also available.
The evenings cost £15 per trainee and this includes a glass of wine and nibbles.
