The Learning Together integrated child health project is now recruiting ST5-8 Registrars who want to get some experience of working in an out of hospital setting.
This popular and highly rewarding training opportunity, supported by the London School of Paediatrics pairs you with a GP ST3 GP to run 6 clinics together in Primary Care alongside 6 MDTs with the Practice team. You’ll need to commit time to do this once every 4-6 weeks so must have agreement form your educational supervisors at your local trust. The project allows you to learn, from first-hand experience, what integrated care is like and could be in the future. It will also raise your game in terms of clinical experience and knowledge, enable you to work more closely with primary care, and gain a primary care perspective of Child Health.
Now is your opportunity to join in! We are particularly keen to hear from you if you are based anywhere in South London. We have limited spaces in North London for new pairs to join, but will do all we can to try and help you set up your own clinics if they aren’t happening in your area.
Get in touch with Wendy Riches firstname.lastname@example.org and we will guide you through the next steps.
