The dates have been set for the 2017/18 LSP study days at the Royal Society of Medicine. Aimed at level 2 trainees, but open to all and with consistently good feedback, the RSM days offer a great way of meeting key curriculum competencies that can be difficult to achieve in the workplace. They are also a great way to catch up with fellow trainees and share experiences.
The RSM has limited dates available and we are conscious that there are some clashes with half term holidays but we are hoping for a good turnout. We would be grateful if trainees and rota coordinators could work together locally to maximise attendance.
The study days are traditionally organised and hosted by trainee volunteers with an interest in that subspecialty (Grid or SPIN, or aspiring towards either of these), supported by the three Curriculum Delivery TPDs: Mando Watson, Caroline Scott-Lang and Jane Runnacles. Trainees have previously found this to be a rewarding experience and it is great for networking as well as a fantastic addition to your CV. If you would like to be involved in organising an RSM study day, please contact the relevant TPD and they will help you:
