Adolescent medicine on Tuesday 25th October. Topics include the stressed adolescent, gang violence, sexual health and improving your observational and consultation skills with adolescents.
The excellent speakers are from a variety of backgrounds and will also present innovative approaches and models to improving adolescent health. The day will conclude with a session on developing an interest in adolescent medicine.
Community Paediatrics is taking place on Tuesday 8th November.
Topics include common developmental problems; behavioural difficulties in community paediatrics; visual impairment; safeguarding in the special needs child; managing special educational needs; transition to adult care; motor disorders; and the Child Death Overview Panel process, as well as hearing from a parent’s perspective and a careers talk from a community trainee.

These programmes are highly relevant for all paediatricians and focus on level 2 competencies that are difficult to achieve locally.
The days are packed so please come early.
