This session will be led by Dr Camilla Kingdon, consultant neonatologist, head of the London School of Paediatrics and Vice President for Educational and Professional Development for RCPCH.
Dr Kingdon has a MA in Managing Medical Careers and as training programme director and Head of school she has seen the journeys of many trainees; some long, some bumpy and some with unexpected detours.
For this unique evening she has invited a selection of newly appointed consultants covering the spectrum of paediatrics from generalists, to sub specialists to academics, who will be sharing their own perspectives on ‘What is the most important or useful thing I now know, that I wished I’d known when I was a trainee?’.
There will be plenty of chances for questions & answers so come along and relax with wine, soft drinks and nibbles and be inspired!
Ideal for any trainee wishing to make their journey to consultant a little more interesting!
