This course is a free, 2-day resilience course aimed at NHS staff working in Children’s services.
Open to all doctors, nurses, allied health professionals and administrative staff.
This course aims to provide the opportunity for participants to learn together and improve their morale by focusing both on their physical and mental health needs and equipping them with the skills to manage complex environments and interactions.
By the end of the two days’ participants will:
•Learn about resilience theories and models
•Have opportunities to explore their own sense of personal resilience
•Discover morale boosting techniques to enhance positivity
•Learn key techniques in sleep hygiene, wellbeing and mindfulness
•Build key mediation skills, developing a better understanding of the early warning signs of conflict
•Develop team resilience skills and enhance understanding of human factors and their impact
